Our Triple Playtime Shorts are a Spring and Summer wardrobe staple. This versatile pattern is suitable for woven (including quilting cotton) and knit fabrics, and features 1 design... 3 ways. Choose between pleats, ruffles or a banded trim detail option. Or go against the grain and try a unique trim of your own such as pom poms or lace.

Download includes a detailed photo tutorial. This pattern was designed for fabric versatility, so make them with wovens or knits... whichever makes your little one smile!

Make sure to print the scaling as "do not scale" and check the 1" control square before assembling the pieces.

    These tulip style shorts are so on trend and I love that I can whip them up so quickly in whatever fabric I have on hand (woven and knit) in a variety of looks (three included trim instructions).

    I absolutely adore this shorts pattern! I love that you can make a sporty knit pair, a frilly ruffle pair or my favorite, the pleated pair! Plus you can always add a cute trim instead! My daughter already has 3 pairs of these!
